Reviewing facts
After a story is read, you approve, edit or reject what CareerBot understood. Only what you approve is used.
When you choose Done, read it on your first story (or Read on any story), CareerBot reads it into roles, facts and context. Nothing it proposes is used until you say so. This step is where you do that, and it's what unlocks your record: resumes, letters and ranking are built only from what you approve.
The step is done once you've approved at least one fact. It's free.
What you do
The step's button, Review, opens Review with what CareerBot understood from your story, one item at a time. For each one:

| Choose | Key | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Approve | A or → | It goes into your record, where resumes, letters and ranking can use it. |
| Edit | E or ↑ | Write it your way. Save and approve approves your wording as you write it. |
| Reject | R or ← | It's left out of your record at once. To say why, use Reject with a note (↓); what you say steers later reads. |
Every decision can be undone with U right after.
Roles come first: approve a role (title, employer, dates) so the facts under it can count. If a role's details are wrong, Edit opens it in Record to fix them.
When a fact is close but not right
Open the card's ⋯ menu and choose Ask for a rewrite. Say what to change or add, for example "It was a team of three and I led it". The rewrite comes back under Rewrites, where you choose Use this, Edit, or Keep current. A rewrite costs about $0.01 of your AI budget.
The same thing is on a fact in Record, as Add context or rewrite.
Other things you'll see in Review
- Questions: when CareerBot thinks an answer would sharpen a line, it asks. Answer or Not now. You can ask for some yourself with Suggest questions (about $0.02).
- When your story and your record disagree (a start date, say), you choose Story is right, Record is right or Neither.
- Insights across jobs, skills that look like the same skill, and facts that say the same thing twice come later, as you add more stories.
