Cover letters and Ask about this role
A cover letter from your tailored resume and record, and answers to the application's questions.
The first step on the Apply path. The letter and answers are written from your tailored resume and your approved record. They never claim what your record doesn't support.
The step is done once a letter is written or you've kept at least one answer.
The cover letter
- The step's button, Open the letter, opens your pursuit at its Letter tab.
- Choose Write a cover letter. The cost shows first; it uses your AI budget. You need a tailored resume first.
- Read it. Edit changes the words yourself and keeps them as a new version. Write it again writes a fresh one. Copy copies it to paste into the application.
The application's questions
Most applications ask questions of their own. Open Ask about this role beside the pursuit with /. Paste a question, or ask anything about the role. Answers come from your approved record, the resume and the posting, and each shows what it's built on. Each answer uses a little of your AI budget.
- Keep saves the answer to the pursuit's Answers tab.
- Copy copies it.
On the Answers tab you can also add your own with Add an answer, edit them, and copy each one to paste into the application.
If you tell Ask something new about your work, it goes to your record for review, like a story would.
