Apollo keys and credits

Apollo finds companies and people, on your own Apollo account, within the credits you set aside.

Apollo is where CareerBot finds companies that fit your directions and the people who work there. It runs on your own Apollo account and spends only the credits you set aside.

What you do

On Today, open Add an Apollo key and a budget. It asks for three things, saved together:

  1. 1

    Paste your Apollo key

Under Apollo key, paste a master key, or one with company search, organization enrichment and credit usage. No key yet? Create one at apollo.io opens Apollo's API settings.

  2. 2

Set the credits set aside each month

Credits set aside each month starts at 400. 0 lets CareerBot use whatever is left in your Apollo plan, never more than that.

  3. 3

Choose how automated Apollo work runs

Automated Apollo work is finding companies, their details and job postings on its own, within those credits: On, Only when I ask, or Paused.

  4. 4

    Save and continue

Save and continue checks the key with Apollo and reads the credits left in your plan. It's free.

If the key won't do, you see: "Apollo didn't accept that key, or it can't read your credit usage. Use a master key, or give the key access to credit usage stats, company search and organization enrichment."

What costs credits

WhatCredits
A company search (Find companies), per page of up to 1001
Finding people at a companyFree
Revealing one person's email1
Job postings for a company with no public job board1

Every spend is checked against both your Apollo balance and the credits you set aside. If CareerBot can't read your balance, nothing is spent.
